The response to Kyosho’s call for ideas of car models to produce has been nothing short of overwhelming! From regular street cars to vintage cars full of memories to racecars competing on the track, the voice of Kyosho fans has been heard clearly and we have a wide range of models to consider. The Kyosho selection committee has chosen the 1st and 4th most popularly requested models. We would like to thank everyone for sharing their ideas with us as we continue to create a range that meets your expectations for the MINI-Z. We thank you and look forward to your continued support of the MINI-Z series.

Limited special color version of the 1st body released in 1999

The AutoScale Collection is car body range synonymous with immaculate scale detail and exquisite paintwork that allows you to change car style and color whenever you like. To commemorate special milestones, Kyosho previously released these special limited edition chrome models: “Audi R8 LMS 50th Anniversary Chrome Plated" and the "Iota SVR Chrome Red 50th Anniversary”. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the MINI-Z, 1800 units of the very first body from 1999, the “Nissan Skyline GT-R R34”, will be released in chrome blue specifications. In addition, the background mount emblazoned with the Mini-Z 20th Anniversary logo on the front and history of the Mini-Z from 1999 to 2020 on the back will also be included.

If you want to enjoy more Mini-Z performance, this is the chassis set for you! Upgrade parts that have been personally selected from the huge range of options and installed have great intrinsic value. This special 20th anniversary model incorporates the best selection of optional upgrade parts, which not only makes it more economical but also delivers formidable racing power from the first drive. Special color of the aluminum parts makes this unmistakable as the “20th Anniversary Model”!

Click here for the TOP20 (with vote count) body styles in the ‘MINI-Z New Body Idea Campaign’ as chosen by you on the Kyosho website between 3rd June - 5th August 2019. More than 300 different cars from Japan and around the world have been produced. From the campaign, 1158 votes from 48 car makers were nominated in response to the callout for new body styles that you want to see produced as a MINI-Z models, including Japanese, American, European, race cars, movie and anime cars, and historical cars.
If you look at the results, you can see the diversity of vehicle model proposals outside the TOP20. Also, in addition to new body ideas, we also received valuable feedback and ideas for MINI-Z marketing and variations. Of course, we will make a MINI-Z that can be enjoyed by many more people. Thank you for the many applications, not only from Japan but also from overseas!
