With the cooperation of Kintaro-ame(®KINTARO CANDY) Main Store, we have created the "Kyosho Original Kintaro-ame." We were deeply impressed by their outstanding craftsmanship and the enduring love for their products. Thank you very much. We would like to introduce the process of creating "Kyosho Original Kintaro-ame" in "The Making of Kyosho Original Kintaro-ame."

WHAT IS KINTARO-AME ?

The origin of this candy is Genroku-ame, a white, blue and red twisted stick -shaped candy in the Edo period. 

We have been in Minowa, Tokyo for over 120 years since the early Meiji period.

HOW TO MAKE KYOSHO KINTARO-AME

Boil glucose syrup and sugar.

Cool it down to get desired hardness.

Add food colorings and mix in by hand .

POINT

All candy making is done by hand.

Make each part of the logo.

Assemble the parts.

The assembly is a great lump.

Pull and stretch the assembly to be a long thin string .

Cut it into bars or pieces when it hardens.
