Powered by the high-performance MR-04 chassis Rear-wheel-drive MINI-Z RWD Series!
After opening the package, simply install batteries in both the car and transmitter, and you're ready to enjoy the authentic performance of a Kyosho R/C car—that's the appeal of a Kyosho Readyset. Among the lineup, the compact MINI-Z Racer is especially beginner-friendly thanks to its ability to run indoors, making it an ideal choice even for those with little or no R/C experience. Now, the MINI-Z RWD Readyset, the core model of the rear-wheel-drive MINI-Z lineup, has been upgraded with the MR-04 chassis. While retaining the proven fundamentals of the MR-03, the MR-04 introduces a significantly lower center of gravity and a redesigned steering system for dramatically improved performance. Originally introduced on the flagship MINI-Z EVO2, the MR-04 quickly earned a reputation for its exceptional speed and precise handling. This Readyset combines the high-performance MR-04 chassis with a dedicated R/C control unit and a fully finished body of display-model quality. Importantly, the chassis retains the same high-grade materials as the EVO2, ensuring uncompromised quality despite its Readyset configuration. Power comes from a user-friendly 130-class brushed motor, while control is handled by the reliable Syncro KT-531P wheel-and-trigger transmitter, a familiar design for R/C enthusiasts. Simply install four AAA alkaline batteries in both the chassis and the transmitter, and you're ready to drive. Beyond enjoying it in standard form, the extensive range of MINI-Z optional parts allows owners to upgrade the car into a machine capable of competing at the highest level of MINI-Z racing. Whether you're driving, tuning, or displaying it, the MINI-Z RWD offers an engaging gateway into the world of serious R/C cars.

The British Jaguar XJR-14 redefined the concept of a Group C race car with its innovative aerodynamic design. Following its championship-winning campaign in the 1991 SWC (Sportscar World Championship), it made a one-off appearance in Japan's Sports Prototype Championship and went on to claim victory.
While retaining the best aspects of the MR-03, the lower center of gravity of the new MR-04 delivers significant performance improvements. The easier control of the MR-04 makes it an ideal introduction to R/C cars.
New front knuckles with integrated kingpins reduce scrub by 1.5mm on each side compared to the MR-03, realizing sharper and more linear control. The change to 3mm inner diameter ball bearings also reduces rotational resistance.
Front suspension dynamically aligns the camber angle with movement of the upper arm to maintain optimal tire contact during cornering. Revised caster angle also delivers improved steering response.
The car is powered by four AAA alkaline or rechargeable nickel-metal hydride batteries. The batteries are mounted lower than the MR-03, lowering the center of gravity of the entire chassis to deliver improved cornering stability and straight-line handling.
The rear suspension uses a coil spring damper to cushion shocks from the road surface and improve driving stability. It can also be upgraded to an optional oil-filled shock absorber.
Flexibility of the T-bar rear suspension plate that holds the entire rear pod, including the motor and rear axle, produces excellent suspension effect. Optional parts are also available in FRP and carbon.
All axles are equipped with low rotational resistance ball bearings as standard. The same size ball bearings are used for both front and rear for spare parts efficiency.
When changing from the standard body, a parts set is included to change the front tread (vehicle width) to match the non-standard body to be installed. Rear tread can be changed by changing the wheel offset.
Includes Syncro KT-531P transmitter with a steering wheel that mimics the steering wheel of a real car and pistol-grip throttle (speed control). Adjust the neutral position of steering and throttle with trims, as well as steering angle with dual rate adjustment. It is also possible to operate in training mode with a reduced vehicle speed (training mode is the default setting).
